A Special Water Story for Seniors in Erding
In the activity center of the city of Erding, seniors can expect a lovingly designed community experience: On Monday, October 19, 2026, the puppeteer Beate Welsch will tell the story of the Erding water supply as a fable in the city library. Admission is free.
Puppet Theater with Local Connection
The Erding water story connects culture, local history, and vivid storytelling. In the form of a puppet show, the development of the drinking water supply is brought to life. The local connection creates opportunities for conversation and invites sharing memories of the city's history and earlier times.
Musical Accompaniment with Flutes
A pleasant and varied atmosphere is created by the musical framing from Elfi Friedrich on the flutes. The combination of puppetry, fable, and music appeals to different senses and offers a quiet, age-appropriate cultural morning in community.
Meeting Point for Social Participation
Starting at 9 a.m., the café in the House of Encounter at Am Rätschenbach 12 opens as a meeting point. There, visitors can engage in conversation before the program starts. Such encounters promote social participation, well-being, and personal exchange in everyday life.
Senior-Friendly Culture in a Relaxed Atmosphere
The offer is explicitly aimed at seniors. The event combines a comprehensible cultural performance with community, familiar topics from the city's history, and a relaxed atmosphere. This creates a senior-friendly morning that combines entertainment and encounters.
Conclusion
The Erding water story as puppet theater promises a special cultural moment with regional relevance, music, and heartfelt community. Experience Beate Welsch and Elfi Friedrich live in the city library of Erding on October 19, 2026, and enjoy a free morning with other seniors.
