A Small City View: See and Create Erding with Your Own Eyes
On Thursday, October 29, 2026, the Künstlerhaus am Stahlmuseum in Erding invites you to a creative art experience. Under the motto A Small City View, participants will create their own images of the Erding city panorama, the historical old town silhouette, or special buildings.
Between City History and Personal Visual Language
The event connects to the exhibition Artistic Shield Plates – Sources for Civic History and Art. Shield plates connect local memory, civic history, and painterly design. In the workshop, this tradition is translated into a personal work interpretation: The city appears as a motif, perception, and individual composition.
Colors, Shapes, and Familiar Places
Under the guidance of Tamara Hackenberg and artist Susanne Spranger, participants will develop their own city view. Roofs, towers, facades, and characteristic buildings will become lines, areas, and colorful accents. The aesthetic experience arises from the precise observation of Erding and the joy of personal artistic expression.
Creative Workshop in the Künstlerhaus
Painting surfaces and brushes will be provided on site, as well as refreshments. The two-hour creative course is suitable for all interested individuals who want to experience painting practically and create a personal memory of Erding. Prior knowledge is not required.
